This was a quick project to produce - I reused a lot of elements which I had created in the past. This project was my first use of the "fast" Depth of Field effect in Vue 10 xStream. Needless to say, I now LOVE the feature, as it adds so much life, depth, and focus to the scene without hampering the render time. The postwork in this scene was very minor - just a quick auto-levels in Photoshop and a vignette to pull the focus more center.

01 Achieve a photorealistic macro shot with depth of field and real world color sampling.
02 Experiment with tilted composition, scale, and completely disregard render time.
